You can make a lot of Rice Krispie Treats with very little time commitment! And even though I also offered chocolate quinoa cupcakes at last week’s retreat, these treats were the most popular. A total crowd-pleaser. Oh, and they’re even gluten-free!

Having a deli for over thirty years now, of course we have a few pasta salad recipes! This one was a favorite of some of the staff. Back in the day, The New Deli made one huge sheet of Pesto Pizza on Fridays. A few of us still remember those days. Once in awhile, we make this recipe again, for New Deli parties. Sssh–don’t tell anyone! (It’s just for employees and family, ha…) Now, the secret to a non-soggy crust: A first layer of thinly-sliced mozzarella cheese over the dough. This chicken breast turned out so moist. We made it for our church’s annual Women’s Christmas Dinner, but- if you’re planning a wedding or other large event, check this out. A mix of butter and Dijon mustard, plus a mix of bread crumbs and Parmesan, helps the meat turn out perfect.
